Homeschool Fall Fun Day
2018-2019 Rescue Ranch Homeschool Club
Rescue Ranch Homeschool Club will run the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from September through November and February through April. Due to holidays, Homeschool Club will run on the 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of November and April. Each week we will meet from 9:30am-12:00pm. Our program is a drop off program for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Each class will have an engineering challenge based on a popular nursery rhyme. Students will listen to a nursery rhyme and discuss problems the characters face and how to solve those problems. They will then go through the engineering process of plan, create, test, and improve for each challenge. They will be given background information and examples to help them with the engineering process.
After their engineering challenge they will meet the animals and participate in humane education activities. The animal lessons will include topics such as empathy/compassion, habitats, adaptations, rescue work, pet care, and so forth. Listed below are the dates our program will run with a list of activities that will be completed over the next school year.
Cost: $20 per child, per month or $50 for the semester, (September-November or February-April)
